The Academy at Beautylicious

The Academy at Beautylicious lies on the edge of the idyllic Cotswold village, Bourton-On-The -Water, also known as the ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’.

The Academy is set in a beautiful historic building, just a short walk from the village and runs alongside a busy & multi award winning salon Beautylicious, which opened its doors in 2011.

We are a small team of working therapists with a passion for high level skills and education within our industry. The Salon and Academy is headed up by hands-on owner Verity Edwards-Flaherty, who has over 20 years experience in the Beauty Industry and is passionate about life long learning and vocational qualifications.

Beautylicious currently employs two full time apprentices and we really enjoy helping them to develop their skills & education with us. We are so proud that both Tyla and Rachel have won the prestigious Hair & Beauty Awards Gold Apprentice of the Year in 2020 and 2021.

Verity now partners with Saks Apprenticeships (our government appointed provider) to assess our Students practical tasks towards their NVQ. Verity has also completed her AET level 3 in Education and Training,
